Kybella is a non-surgical, permanent solution to reducing or eliminating submental fullness (aka “double chin”) which is oftentimes very genetic and exists regardless of weight gain or loss. Forpatients with a small to moderate amount of submental fullness and looking to reduce or eliminate their double chin without surgery, Kybella can be an effective treatment solution. Made from synthetic deoxycholic acid – something that is made naturally by our bodies to aid in the digestion of the fats we consume – Kybella dissolves the fat beneath the chin using the same mechanism of action.
